Serum Institute fire: Vaccine supply won't be affected, says CEO Adar Poonawalla

The supply of Covid-19 will not be affected due to the fire at Serum Institute of India’s (SII) Pune facility, confirmed SII CEO Adar Poonawalla on Friday. Poonawalla said the other facilities involved in the production of Rotavirus and BCG vaccines were damaged with the financial losses pegged at over Rs 1,000 crore.
